Albert Einstein spent some years in Pavia when he was a teenager because his uncle and his father managed a hydroelectric power plant on the Naviglio Pavese, the so-called ‘Einstein factory’ that still exists today. It is located in a suburban area and even the most curious tourists visiting Pavia fail to include it in their itinerary.
One of the itineraries suggested by Vacanze Pavesi, “Pavia – Città d’acqua e di genio” (Pavia – City of Water and Genius) takes you right there: when you ride a Vespa, distance doesn’t matter and everything is possible!
Have a great weekend!
