ATTENTION! SANIFICATION OF THE VESPAS AND THE ACCESSORIES PROVIDED
In compliance with the regulations in force, all the Vespas, helmets and other accessories provided are sanitised after every use; the plates and cutlery are single use; Hand gel is available at the Girasole, the Vespa pick-up and drop-off point.
Let’s get back on the road in safety!
You book your Vespa for an entire day (or more if you have chosen a weekend). You can pick it up at the gourmet shop, The Girasole of Travacò Siccomario from 8.00am and drop it off no later than 7.30pm.
The Girasole of Travacò Siccomario can be found in via Darwin, in the locality of Frua, province of Pavia (Look it up on Google Maps)
To book your outing on a Vespa, or you’ve received a gift card box contact us or navigate our website to find some inspiration.
Upon completing your booking you will receive two emails: one with your order summary and booking code, and one with information on the chosen itinerary and the forms that the designated driver of the Vespa needs to sign before coming to pick up the Vespa.
The purchase is non-refundable, but in case of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances you can easily change the date: you only need to tell us about your decision to postpone the booking by calling us on +39 340 2831923 before 8.00 am on the day for which you made the original booking.
PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF:
The Vespas are picked up and dropped off at Il Girasole (The Sunflower), located at Via Charles Darwin, 5, 27020 Travacò Siccomario, Pavia
From 8.00am to 7.30pm (Il Girasole is closed on weekdays from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm, and after 3pm on Sundays).
INDICATIONS FOR THE USE OF THE VESPA
Before you begin your experience, you must pay a deposit of €300 via PayPal which will be repaid, wholly or in part (in case of damage, loss of accessories, missing fuel, after-hours drop off, theft…) the first working day after you return the Vespa.
The Vespas of Vacanze Pavesi are automatic Piaggio Primavera 125s, suitable for two people, with storage space for helmets, a mini trunk and a bungee strap to transport a picnic basket and blanket. There is no limit to the number of kilometres you can travel.
The driver must be 18 years or older and have a valid A or B license which will be asked for by the staff of Vacanze Pavesi upon arrival.
The Vespa must be returned with a full tank of unleaded petrol; if the tank is not full when the Vesapa is returned, €10 will be deducted from the €300 deposit.
Responsibility for any infractions incurred are payable by the driver and as such will be deducted from the signatory of the declaration of assumption of responsibility. For offenses entailing a deduction of points from the driver’s licence, Vacanze Pavesi must provide the requesting authority with the details of the driver, as the user of the vehicle at the time of the infringement, within 30 days of the infringement notice.
Access is not permitted to the ‘ZTL’ (pedestrian) zone in the centre of Pavia or the ZTL zones of other cities. For more information please visit the dedicated website of Pavia City Council.
The Vespa must be dropped off at The Girasole before 7.30pm. If they are not dropped off within that time, the Vespa remains under the responsibility of the person who booked the experience and then upon the return of the Vespa the following day €75 will be deducted from the €300 deposit, is the equivalent to the booking of the Vespa for a Basic package.
